Best of the Area

Best of the Area is the Iowa City Press-Citizen's annual citizen vote on the best aspects of the greater Iowa City/Coralville area.

This year, we have expanded voting to more than 60 categories, ranging from restaurants and food to shopping and senior activities.

 

Best Financial Institution

Hills Bank and Trust Co.

201 S. Clinton St., 2621 Muscatine Ave., and 1401 S. Gilbert St.
in Iowa City; and 1009 Second St., Coralville.

It’s always the battle of the banks in the best financial institution category, with Hills Bank and Trust Co. winning out for the second straight year. The banks is named for the town of Hills south of Iowa City where the bank headquarters are located.
