Perhaps no other local shop has shown how to compete than the Java House, which has been the area's favorite coffee house for the entire life of our contest. The shop sells an array of pastries, muffins, cinnamon rolls and scones. Cookies, all of which are made from scratch, are a popular item at the stores. Customers can expect creative seasonal fall treats such as molasses or spice cookies, and flavored espresso drinks to match.
