Best of the Area

Best of the Area is the Iowa City Press-Citizen's annual citizen vote on the best aspects of the greater Iowa City/Coralville area.

This year, we have expanded voting to more than 60 categories, ranging from restaurants and food to shopping and senior activities.

 

Best theater group

Riverside Theatre

213 N. Gilbert St.

Riverside Theatre continues its long run atop our best theater group category. The professional company puts on its annual Shakespeare festival in the summer at City Park as well as a steady stream of regular season shows at its home base and stage at 213 N. Gilbert.
