Best of the Area

Best of the Area is the Iowa City Press-Citizen's annual citizen vote on the best aspects of the greater Iowa City/Coralville area.

This year, we have expanded voting to more than 60 categories, ranging from restaurants and food to shopping and senior activities.

Many area restaurants have extensive vegetarian and vegan menus, but this year’s Best Vegetarian Restaurant is Iowa City’s only 100 percent vegan restaurant. All their menu items are organic, and nearly all of their beers and wines carry the organic label as well.
