According to the website for Iowa City’s favorite barbecue restaurant, Jimmy Jack’s has the finest ribs in Johnson County, according to the owners’ mothers. Well, now they can say “favorite barbecue, according to Iowa City Press-Citizen voters.” Owners Jimmy Adrian and Jack Piper opened the barbecue place in 2005 across from Sycamore Mall and patrons have been wiping their mouths and fingers ever since.
